euro 2012 ( soccer fever)

i dont know about the rest of the world but when the games begin..
holland goes nutss.
the streets go orange and people are happy.
we stand as one..for a second there is no Racism or hate everyone is the same for just a little while..
i wish tho that this could last longer.,
no hate no racism , just us haning out outside partying with family friends strangers whateverr,
i dont wanna sound so depressing but i wish that could last forever.
my wish always was that we could live like this as a humans.
just treat eachother with a little more respect.

look i understand there are days you get cranky and bitchy.
but this game is bringing nations together.
all kindsa people are partying and hanging out with eachother.
but as soon as its over and the euro 2012 is over.
the bitchyness begins again.
the hate comes back , the racism comes back.

i know the bad things never left.
but for a while it seemd like the most of the people got it.
they got the fact that this brought us together and we are the same.
we all have a heart , we all have feelings, we all are from flesh and blood.

maybe im a little naief to think that the world could change.
but hey thats the little girl in me,
but the adult in me knows beter.

but my mom raised me that everyone is the same.
and that is what i know and feel..,
and im proud of my dutch side of me and the african side of me.
yes i am a product of 2 nationalities.
AND PROUD OF IT..

but lets not stay in a dark place .
where ever you are..
stand up and have a great time...
euro 2012 has begon and its PARTY TIMEEEEEEEE
cuzz its soccer fever..
